Rising Stories #50: Jamie Ivey
Hooray, it’s my 50th episode of Rising Stories Podcast! I can’t tell you how excited I am that I have made it this far and can’t even begin to tell you how much fun this journey has been. I want to thank you, the listener, for hanging in there with me through all of these episodes and I cannot wait for you all to hear the next fifty!
My special guest today is a lady who is a fellow podcaster who encouraged me to launch my own podcast. In 2014 Jamie Ivey began her podcast called The Happy Hour, which is now one of the most popular Christian podcasts out there. She is a wife and a mom of four living in Austin, Texas. Jamie is now doing speaking engagements all across the country, and I hear that she is also writing a book.
Jamie and I talk about the choices we have as women who run businesses, and the line between what is ministry and what is business. We also talk about what we just love about podcasting and our not-so-favorite things about podcasting.
